OUR FINAL NBA MOCK DRAFT đź
Someone put $40K on WHAT?! đ°Brandon Miller with the HOTTEST take of the year. đ„Who is getting the dick pick? Plus, let's take a look at the top picks and best bets for tonight's NBA Draft!
Someone Put $40K on Victor Wembanyama to be the No. 1 Overall Pick in the Draft (-8000)đ
This would only win the guy $500 HAHAHA.
Wembanyama or âWembyâ threw out the first pitch at the Mariners-Yankees game. Although it wasnât the greatest throw in the world, I honestly donât even know how he threw it when his hands look like this around a baseball. đ€Ł

If you look at other European starsâ rookie years, such as those of Nikola Jokic or Giannis Antetokounmpo, it becomes apparent that they were far from impressive upon entering the league. Jokic averaged a mere 10 points per game and could barely run up the court. It was nearly impossible to predict that a player with his physique, who could barely jump a few inches off the ground, would eventually become the world's greatest player. Similarly, Giannis looked like a baby giraffe out there in his first year, averaging only 6.8 points per game.
It's safe to say that players coming from overseas often require an adjustment period to adapt to the NBA style of play. However, Wemby seems NBA-ready, boasting a once-in-a-generation talent at a towering 7'3" with the ability to dribble and move like a guard. I am scared to see what he and Gregg Popovich are going to do on the court.
The significance of the NBA Draft lottery is kind of bullsh*t, as only a few fortunate winners stumble upon a franchise player capable of propelling a dynasty. Even when we think a player is a guaranteed lock, they arenât. âCoughâ Zion âcoughâ. Among the last 35 No. 1 picks, only three players â LeBron James and Kyrie Irving (both with Cleveland) and Tim Duncan (with San Antonio) â have managed to win championships with the teams that selected them. đŹ |
It's still uncertain how much adjustment and improvement Wemby will require, and the impact of his physical development on his game will be vital in his first few years. These are the questions that will shape his NBA journey. However, one thing is for certain: Wemby's incredible blend of size and skill makes him one of the greatest prospects I have ever seen. He stands out as unparalleled talent, and I canât help but be impressed by everything he brings to the table.

He has to be trolling. I love Brandon Millerâs game, but this quote actually makes me think it should hurt his draft stock. If I am a GM, I am now completely avoiding Brandon Miller on draft night. ORRRR maybe thatâs exactly what he wants us to think.
Brandon Miller is projected to go No. 2 overall to the Charlotte Hornets in a lot of mock drafts. And who has the final say in who they pick in the draft? Even though he is selling the team, it is still Michael Jordan. Maybe Miller is intentionally trying to diminish his draft stock to avoid going to the Hornets and instead drop to the No. 3 spot, landing with the Portland Trail Blazers. The math is mathing to me.đ€·
BOOOM - I cracked the code! Because there's absolutely no comparison between George and Jordan or James.
George has an impressive NBA resume, boasting eight All-Star selections, six All-NBA selections, and four All-Defensive Team selections. However, Jordan and James operate on an entirely different level, with a combined total of 10 NBA championships, nine MVP awards, and 33 All-Star appearances.
Honestly, this could also be a genius move on his part since I guess it erases any other questions the press might have about his past at Alabama. đ

NBA Mock Draft Round 1 Lottery Picks
1. San Antonio Spurs: Victor Wembanyama, C, France
Wembanyama is a no-brainer selection for the Spurs with the No. 1 overall pick. This would also be the case for any other team in the league, regardless of their roster construction or competitive timeline.
Wembanyama is the complete package when it comes to rookies with a package loaded with shooting, ball-handling, defense, and finishing ability, all in a 7-foot-4 frame. The Spurs get their elite prospect here to build into their next era, and potentially, dynasty.
Given how short Wembanyamaâs NBA Draft No. 1 pick odds are going to be, itâs difficult to justify listing him as an NBA bet of the day. Thereâs no ROI there for the bettor.
2. Charlotte Hornets: Scoot Henderson, G, G League Ignite
Henderson is a confounding pick if Charlotte chooses to go that route due to the presence of LaMelo Ball, but it makes sense for several reasons.
First and foremost, Henderson is the best player available. Also, he would mesh well next to Ball given that he is more of a score-first guard who can pass, while Ball is more of a pass-first guard who can score.
Hendersonâs slashing ability and rim pressure are far more refined and would allow Ball to focus on distributing and shooting.
3. Portland Trail Blazers: Amen Thompson, G, Overtime Elite
While the rumors make it seem as if the Blazers may trade this pick in an attempt to draw in a veteran wing (possibly Bostonâs Jaylen Brown), for the sake of this mock, weâll assume itâs kept.
Portland would be wise to make this selection if it stands pat and moves on from Damian Lillard. Thompsonâs mix of size, explosion, rim pressure, and creation would be a welcome sight to Blazers fans who may worry about the future at point guard.
There is certainly risk here due to Thompsonâs questionable shooting, but he has the upside of a perennial All-Star and franchise centerpiece.
4. Houston Rockets: Ausar Thompson, G, Overtime Elite
The Rockets need a lead guard in the worst way, and they were fortunate to land at No. 4, where one of the two Thompson twins should be available.
Thompsonâs size and athleticism create a fearsome mix. Like his brother, he is also a creative passer who can initiate an offense with several viable pieces in Jalen Green, Jabari Smith, Tari Eason, and Alperen ĆengĂŒn.
While Thompsonâs three-point shooting may be a work in progress, it is not broken and can be developed alongside this young core.
5. Detroit Pistons: Brandon Miller, F, Alabama
While better players like the Thompson twins may no longer be available for the Pistons at No. 5, they would be tough fits next to the ball-dominant backcourt duo of Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey, anyway.
Miller had a tumultuous freshman year off the court, but he was nothing short of fantastic on it. He posted .430/.384/.859 shooting splits, displaying fantastic scoring and rebounding ability with solid defense to boot, making him the perfect modern wing in todayâs NBA and a solid pick in our NBA Rookie of the Year Odds.
