SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PREVIEW
The Bills’ roller-coaster season is swinging up, and they’ll know whether they even need to win to qualify for a wild-card berth before they take the field. Still, few teams want to play Buffalo, especially if it finishes as the No. 2 seed since it is 7-2 in Orchard Park this season.
The Dolphins’ season is trending down after their 37-point shellacking in Baltimore, which was somehow more costly than their losing out on both the opportunity to clinch the No. 1 seed and the division title. Miami lost game-wrecking pass rusher Bradley Chubb to a torn ACL and may not have wide receiver Jaylen Waddle or running back Raheem Mostert again.
Plus, Buffalo routed Miami by four touchdowns in its first meeting, with quarterback Josh Allen throwing as many touchdowns (four) as incompletions and finishing with a perfect passer rating (158.3).
Allen is 9-2 in his career against the Dolphins and should have won in Miami Gardens last season since Buffalo outgained Miami 497-212 in Miami’s 21-19 victory in Week 4.
The Dolphins’ injuries, including the fact quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left the loss in Baltimore with a shoulder injury, should have a major impact. Miami is tied for 21st in points-against per game (23.1), and even though it may end up with Mostert and Waddle back, Chubb’s injury is a marquee loss, especially against an offense as explosive as Buffalo’s.
The Bills have won two straight on the road, with each win coming by exactly two points. Look for them to score a more comfortable win over Miami. - Pat Pickens
SLEEPER PICKS
The Game Day’s team of fantasy and betting analysts will give you their favorite Sleeper DFS picks. Check out Sleeper for all of your DFS picks wants!
Michael Pittman More Than 79.5 Receiving Yards
Michael Pittman should be able to easily get going in a matchup that will likely decide the wild card spot but also has a chance to be for the AFC South and a home playoff matchup.
He didn’t go over this number in his first game against the Texans, but he’s gone over 80 yards in four of his last six games and goes up against a Texans defense that is coming off of 265 yards allowed to Amari Cooper just a couple of weeks ago.
Josh Allen More Than 35.5 Rushing Yards
Josh Allen has been running nearly twice as much since Ken Dorsey was fired and Joe Brady took over as the offensive coordinator, and with the entire Bills’ offense transforming into a run-heavy machine, I think Allen gets on track here.
The Dolphins have been solid against the run, holding Allen to half of this total in the first matchup this season, but this offense has completely changed since that game.
PARLAY OF THE WEEK
Move on more Week 18 parlays with Frank Ammirante.
The Week 18 Parlay of the Week brings you to two teams that absolutely need to right the ship.
Indianapolis had been rolling prior to losing to the Bengals and then the Falcons in two of their last four games. They were able to briefly steady with a close win against the Raiders, but this week they face the Houston Texans in what is a win-or-go-home game.
If the Colts win, they at least lock up a playoff spot, and if Jacksonville also loses, then the Colts would be AFC South champions. I have viewed the Colts as undervalued for some time and believe that Gardner Minshew and the gang have a very good shot at depriving C.J. Stroud of a playoff appearance in his rookie year.
The Eagles are at a point of desperation right now, having lost four of their last five games. They need a win, and a convincing one, to build some confidence heading into the playoffs.
Enter the hapless Giants, who realistically were a guy falling away from losing the Week 16 game by almost three touchdowns. Even with the Eagles going to MetLife Stadium, I imagine the Birds have their hearts set on a blowout here.
The Eagles have to be stewing since their loss to Arizona, and this game against the rival Giants is a perfect time to land some heavy blows. I expect the starters to be playing in this one to not limp into the playoffs, and the Giants defense that struggled to defend the Eagles in the first matchup could crumble again.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Game Day’s team is giving you both sides of the coin ahead of the CFP Championship! Bet on the game with FanDuel!
The National Championship is the end of the college football season, and we arrive here with the knowledge that for what feels like the first time in the College Football Playoff, it doesn’t really feel like there is a heavyweight contender in it.
We’ve always had the Georgias, the Alabamas, the Ohio States, and this year, Michigan and Washington don’t give off that vibe to me. The only team that really felt that way to me was Georgia.
With that said, I’m not thinking this is going to be a one-sided game. I think both sides match up well with each other, and I do think that Michigan is going to be a lot better at pressuring Michael Penix Jr. than Texas was.
Michigan is not going to wow you with its offensive arsenal, but there is something about how fluid its offense can be. Blake Corum is an absolute stud, and while Alabama was able to quiet Donovan Edwards, he can also be explosive.
I have to ride with Michigan laying the points on this one. - Sam Wagman
Penix Jr. should have won the Heisman Trophy. It seems like time and time again, the national media puts the Washington Huskies behind the 8-ball.
We already know about the bias in favor of the SEC, but there seems to be just as much negative bias about the Pac-12. I suppose some criticisms are warranted about poor defenses and overachieving offenses, but this Huskies team can be potent on both sides of the ball.
Unseating Michigan from the top spot won’t be an easy task, but how much respect do the Wolverines deserve after it was revealed they were stealing signs?
This game will boil down to defense and Michigan has the No. 1 defense in the country. Meanwhile, Washington just allowed over six yards per carry in the Rose Bowl against Texas.
If Penix and the offense can jump out to an early lead and force Michigan away from Corum and its running game, the Huskies have a decent shot to win the title. - Pat Pickens
