My Best Bets To Make March Even More Interesting đź‘€
PRESENTED BY:
No. 19 Xavier vs No. 20 Providence
Today at 6:30 PM on FS1
March belongs to college basketball, and with today being the first day of March, it marks the beginning of one of the most thrilling tournaments in sports. As we step closer to the madness, let's take a closer look at a highly anticipated matchup between Xavier and Providence, two of the top teams in the Big East.
Their first meeting just a month ago was a classic, with 18 lead changes and an intense overtime period that saw Xavier secure an 85-83 victory on their home court at the Cintas Center. But this time, the stage is set at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, where Providence has yet to lose a game this season, boasting a perfect 15-0 record at home.
Both teams have identical overall and conference records, making this a must-watch game for college basketball fans. However, with the home-court advantage, I'm predicting Providence to come out on top in a close and thrilling game. Expect the home crowd to give the Friars the energy they need to claim a vital victory.

Auburn vs No. 2 Alabama
Today at 7:00 PM on ESPN2
Get ready for an intense 12-day stretch as college basketball teams push to secure their spot in the Big Dance. Although Alabama, Tennessee, and Kentucky of the SEC have already secured their spot, there are still several teams in the conference that must perform at their best in these final few games. Even the Auburn Tigers, currently listed as one of the last four teams on the “bubble,” could find themselves in a risky position.
I like taking Auburn — 9.5-point underdogs — a team that needs a win vs a distracted team that has been in the news lately for the wrong reasons. I like my chances.

No. 9 Texas vs No. 22 TCU
Today at 9:00 PM on ESPN2
Texas will face TCU before hosting Kansas on Saturday. With hopes of chasing down Kansas in the Big 12 title race, Texas needs to secure a victory in this game to stay alive in the competition.
While the Longhorns were able to defeat TCU 79-75 earlier in the season, they should expect an even harder matchup this time around. TCU recently welcomed back talented guard Mike Miles Jr. from injury, and after scoring 24 points against Texas Tech, he's sure to give Texas some trouble.
Despite TCU having the home-court advantage, it's clear that Texas is the better team, but for some odd reason, is the underdog. I think the Longhorns are the best bet in this one.
