Our Bets Have Been on 🔥

If you haven't been tailing our bets, now is the best time to start. We have been on fire lately with our futures bets looking very promising and covering every single spread we have taken. Let's continue this hot streak for tonight's BIG matchup. Can the Celtics come back and take Game 2? Let's find out. 👇

The 6th Longest Game in NHL History

In a historic playoff game that stretched into FOUR OVERTIMES, the Florida Panthers secured a 3-2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. Here is everything you need to know:

During the first overtime period, Ryan Lomberg of the Florida Panthers appeared to have scored the potential game-winning goal 2 minutes and 35 seconds into the period, but it was called off due to goaltender interference.

The two teams played the length of two entire games (120 minutes) plus almost another extra period. The game lasted a staggering 139 minutes and 47 seconds. 🤯

Matthew Tkachuk scored the winning goal in the fourth overtime period with only 12.7 seconds remaining.

Did you know Tkachuk and Jayson Tatum went to high school together? They even made this video for a class project. 🤣👇

Celtics vs Heat Predictions & Best Bets

The Miami Heat are rolling. After upsetting the Milwaukee Bucks and New York Knicks in the first two rounds of the playoffs, Jimmy Butler led his squad to a convincing Game 1 victory over the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, 123-116.

The Celtics led by as many as 13 in the first half and took a nine-point lead into the break, but Miami outscored Boston 46-25 in the third, which ultimately decided the outcome of the game. Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum didn’t attempt a single shot in the fourth.

If you tailed all my bets in Game 1, you were a big winner 🤑. We saw Jimmy Butler hit his over 40.5 Pts + Reb + Ast with a total of 47. Plus, we knew that the +8 line was too big and Heat obviously covered that with their win.

Heat +9 (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

The Heat scare me. This team isn’t afraid of anyone. And despite the fact that they’re playing for a shot at the NBA Finals as the No. 8 seed, they fully believe that this is where they were meant to be.

While the Celtics focus on increasing their intensity, Miami will continue to play with the same energy it’s brought throughout the postseason. And considering that this group is now 9-3 against the spread in the playoffs, I would be foolish to pick Boston to cover.

Over 215.5 Total Points (-110) • DraftKings Sportsbook

I assumed this series would be played at a relatively slow pace, with each team prioritizing winning on the defensive end. And while that can still happen, Game 1 indicated that both sides want to get out in transition, fire away from deep, and score early in the shot clock.

With Miami dictating the pace, we can expect to see totals similar to what we got in the Heat vs Bucks series — an average of around 240 points per game. That’s considerably higher than this 215.5-point mark, so I’m more than happy to go with the Over here.

Preakness Stakes Odds & Predictions 2023

The second stop of the race for the Triple Crown takes us to Pimlico. After a thrilling win at Kentucky Derby, Mage will attempt to win the second leg at the Preakness.

This time around, Mage’s challenge is much different. For starters, he’s now an 8/5 morning line favorite, taking on a field that is less than half the size of the one he just conquered.

Will Mage head into the Belmont with the Triple Crown still intact? Or are there other horses still worth betting?

WIN Preakness: No. 8 First Mission (5/2)

To me, it’s a matter of pace. While we saw rapid fractions in the Kentucky Derby that allowed Mage to close, I’m not certain we’ll see anything close to that here.

First Mission is likely to get the lead, and he might be allowed to run at a comfortable pace. If that is the case, expect First Mission, who has competitive Beyer Speed Figures, to be in a position to win this race.

PLACE Preakness: No. 3 Mage (8/5)

The favorite certainly is in a fine position to win once again. Mage has the best Beyer Speed Figure by a significant margin. He’s also shown a knack for excelling at longer distances.

With a (slightly) shorter race on deck, I envision Mage making a push for the win at the end of the race. He has the talent to come up for the win, although I’m envisioning the surge coming up just short.

SHOW Preakness: No. 5 Red Route One (10/1)

Red Route One has run in nine races, which is more than First Mission and Mage combined.

Results have been mixed, to say the least, although the horse is seasoned. It also loves to race from behind, which has been consistent since Red Route One began racing.

While I don’t expect the pace to be robust, I could see Red Route One making a push at the very end.

Preakness Stakes Best Bets

(8) First Mission Win/Place/Show

The reasons for the bet are well defined above. The true speed of this race has a chance to run a comfortable pace and deliver a wire-to-wire win.

$3 Trifecta Box: (8) First Mission, (3) Mage, (5) Red Route One, (1) National Treasure

There’s not an abundance of value here, although there could be if Mage misses the board or finishes in third. We’re boxing all four horses and trying to assemble a top three that leads to a modest profit.
