Aaron Boone was ejected in yesterday’s game against the Chicago White Sox where the Yankees lost 5-1.

Boone was given the boot by home plate umpire Laz Diaz in the eighth inning right after rookie shortstop Anthony Volpe got called out on strikes. And you can bet Boone wasn't holding back – he went all in, having a heated debate with Diaz while also putting on quite a show at the plate. 🤣

Despite collecting six hits and drawing eight walks, the Yankees managed to only score one run. The team went 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position. 😬

The most overlooked thing in your fantasy draft is how your order is chosen.

DON’T RANDOMLY GENERATE YOUR DRAFT ORDER! Don’t be boring, create a fun way to make your fantasy football experience even better with these draft order ideas. Some are easy, others, not as much. It depends on how invested you are in your league.

Get your fantasy league started the right way and make it a fun event that you will remember forever. Here are some ideas to get you started.👇

1. Tournaments - Video game & other 🎮🛒

Think Madden, Mario Kart, or even Super Smash Bros. Set up a tournament-style competition, get everyone together online or in-person, and let the games begin. One of the best parts about this is that you can play online, stream the games so everyone can watch, and bet on the games between league members.

Make fun of each other's gaming skills and turn your draft order into an epic gaming battle.

Some people also simulate the games if there is an unfair advantage in your league. Not as much fun or competitive, but makes the playing field a little more even. 🤷‍♂️

Other game tournaments such as Texas Hold Em, beer pong, flip cup are also popular.

2. Playlist Shuffle 🎵🔀

Want to keep things chill yet exciting? It's as easy as hitting shuffle on your favorite music app. Each league member picks a song to add to the playlist, hit shuffle, and the song that plays determines the draft order.

As your new fantasy playlist plays, the anticipation builds. By the end, you have a fantasy draft order and usually a very diverse playlist. 🤣

3. Sports Competitions 🏃‍♂️🏀🏈⛳️

If you have the opportunity to do sports competitions, you almost have to try it at least once. You can do one competition such as a 40-yard dash to determine your order, or choose a backyard olympic format where you have multiple sport contests that determine the order based on best performance. Unless you all think you are the fastest in the league, backyard olympics makes the most sense.

5. Horse Racing 🐎💵

Embrace the thrill of horse racing season by incorporating it into your draft order selection process. Choose between various horse race-related methods, such as determining the order based on the amount of money won or lost during a day at the races. Alternatively, each participant can select a horse in a designated race, and the order of the horses' finish dictates the draft order. This method bridges the excitement of sports betting with the camaraderie of fantasy football.

6. Pizza Order 🍕🚘

This is one of the most unique ones I have seen. Each league member chooses their preferred favorite pizza spot, orders the same type of pizza, and waits for the deliveries. The sequence of pizza arrivals decides the draft order. It's like getting a slice of excitement with every box that arrives.

7. Celebrity Cameo 🤩🎬

Every league member chips in for a celebrity cameo – the league commissioner can pick one, or you can all choose one together. I prefer the league commissioner picks since the surprise will even make it that more entertaining. The celebrity will then randomly choose your draft order. I love this method because the video lasts a lifetime and some league members form life-long beefs with the person you choose.

8. Tinder ❤️

This is by far the craziest one that I have seen. The league commissioner sets up a Tinder profile and assigns a letter to each league member (you might have to create a four-person grid to fit every league-member’s photo). The first match on the fantasy league’s Tinder account becomes the arbiter of fate, with the choice of dictating the draft order. 🤣

9. Pick a Player/contestant 🤓

League members can randomly draw contestants for events like spelling bees or preseason football games, where their performance directly influences the draft order. This approach adds an element of excitement to even the least exciting event.

10. Eating/Drinking Competitions 🌭🍺🏈

Food, beer, and fantasy football, what is better than that? Compete with your league mates in a hot dog eating competition, a beer-chugging competition, or even both. The results will determine your fantasy draft order.
