The Fantasy Football Hall-of-Famer is BACK for Week 16!
Read for EXCLUSIVE deep fantasy football sleeper tips and prop bets!
A trip to the fantasy football Super Bowl is at stake in most leagues in NFL Week 16. I help increase your chances of advancing with some key guys to consider for your challenging lineup decisions.
My NFL Week 16 Prop Plays listed here are also worthy of fantasy starting duties.
Fantasy Tips
1. Start Cooking With Russ Again 👨🍳
Russell Wilson enters NFL Week 16 ranked as QB19 in fantasy scoring for the season. In an amazingly disastrous 2022 season, he has whittled away most of his fantasy appeal.
If you need to reach deeper for a QB option in your fantasy playoffs this week, though, and many of us do, Wilson can be considered for a potentially productive performance. In his last start in Week 14, he passed for three TDs for the first time as a Bronco.
As he returns from a missed game because of a concussion, Wilson will want to start a run of good outings to finish out the 2022 campaign, and he looked more like his past self in his last game played. The Rams defense might spend a lot of time on the field and Aaron Donald may not be available to terrorize Wilson as he did during his Seattle days.
2. Action For Jackson 🎥
Indianapolis made a change at QB for this week, as Nick Foles will start against the Chargers. The Colts will likely attempt to lean on their running backs against a Los Angeles defense that has allowed the second-most rushing yards to RBs.
Zack Moss had 24 carries last week, so he may be the preferred ball carrier, but Deon Jackson will also share some work and he should be the main receiving threat of the two. If the Colts have to operate in catch-up mode, Jackson can pad his totals in that type of game script.
Jackson is a viable deeper option as a flex play in Week 16.
3. Encore For Osborn? 🎬
In Week 15, K.J. Osborn busted out for the best performance of his career, catching 10 passes on 16 targets for 157 yards and a TD. But he had totaled 70 receiving yards just once this season prior to last week.
It is dangerous to chase a big previous week from a guy who has been mostly unreliable in fantasy football, and the Vikings were in major catch-up mode in their historic win over the Colts.
I am also considering, though, that such a performance could lead to more frequent targets for Osborn this week, as Kirk Cousins may have increased confidence in getting the ball to him now. The Giants also rank 26th in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to WRs over the past four weeks.
There is no safe statistical floor for Osborn, but if you want to take a big upside swing, start him in Week 16.
Prop Bets
Isiah Pacheco: Anytime TD (+100) at DraftKings Sportsbook
With frigid conditions expected in Kansas City, we could see a shift to the ground game a bit more. The Seahawks also have the worst run defense in the NFC and they have allowed an NFL-high seven rushing TDs to RBs over the past four weeks.
Pacheco can finish off a drive with a short TD run, and he can also score on a longer run from outside the goal-line area.
James Cook: Anytime TD (+240) at DraftKings Sportsbook
Weather is also going to be a significant factor in Chicago, and even though the Bills are built for such conditions, they may elect to lean on their RBs slightly more than usual. The Bears have allowed an NFC-high 14 rushing TDs to RBs this season.
