Kim Kardashian Trolls Her Sister 💀

Kim Kardashian shared a video on TikTok wearing a black t-shirt featuring the phrase "Kendall Starting Five" in red letters. The shirt incorporates a Photoshopped image of her sister Kendall Jenner amidst a lineup of NBA stars she has been associated with, including Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, Devin Booker, Kyle Kuzma, and Jordan Clarkson.

NBA Finals Game 3: Nuggets vs Heat

Tonight at 8:30 PM on ABC

The Miami Heat pulled off a shocking victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 2, overcoming an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit to win 111-108.

Duncan Robinson led the charge for Miami in the final frame, scoring 10 points in the final 2:16 to give the Heat a lead that they would not relinquish. Nikola Jokić paced the Nuggets with 41 points and 11 rebounds, but he got little help outside of Jamal Murray.

With the series heading to Miami on Wednesday, let’s get into my best bets and predictions for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Nuggets and Heat.

The Nuggets have not scored the ball as well as we’ve grown accustomed to in this series, notching 104 and 108 points, respectively, through the first two games. That’s a testament to Miami’s defense, which has done an excellent job of limiting Denver to just 34.5% shooting from beyond the arc. That’s likely to change soon, and I expect that to happen in Game 3.

Denver had many defensive breakdowns along the perimeter on Sunday, allowing the Heat to go 17-of-35 from three-point range.

I’d like to say that Miami’s outside shooting is unsustainable, but the Heat have proven to be a different team in the playoffs. Game 2 marked Miami’s sixth contest shooting 48.5% or better from deep in the postseason, something it accomplished three times during the regular season. 🤯

Nuggets -2.5 (-110)

The Nuggets are bound to return to form, and some of their best offensive performances of the playoffs have come on the road. Miami is an exceptionally tough place to play — the Heat have lost just twice there this postseason — but I have to think that Denver will come out with improved focus in Game 3.

This Nuggets team has responded well to adversity all season, and now that they’ve suffered their first loss of the NBA Finals, it’s time to see how they answer. Look for Jokić and Co. to get things going early in a high-scoring win.

Over 215.5 Total Points (-110)

The Over missed by a considerable margin in Game 1, but it hit with some wiggle room in Game 2. We can likely chalk the series opener up to some rust and Miami getting acclimated while Sunday’s contest is more like what we should expect moving forward.

Denver has yet to score with its usual efficiency, and while the Heat have done well to keep them in check thus far, it should only be a matter of time before the Nuggets start hitting.

Nuggets Mascot Gets Paid HOW MUCH?!

I need to start training to be a mascot NOW!

We all know there is an incredible amount of money in the NBA, especially with superstars signing for over $200 million now. However, lurking behind the playful personas of these furry, big-headed creatures is a jaw-dropping paycheck that makes me reconsider my career choice.

Similar to NBA players, mascots also experience substantial pay disparities. The highest-earning mascot, Rocky the Mountain Lion, who represents the Denver Nuggets, rakes in a staggering $625,000 per year - yes, you read that correctly. To put things into perspective, this figure surpasses the median salary for the profession by more than tenfold and surpasses the earnings of over 90 NBA players.

I guess when you truly think about it, it starts to make sense, although I never realized that pursuing a career as a mascot could be such a lucrative path. Why go through years of schooling to become a lawyer or a doctor when all you have to do is entertain an entire audience with your dance moves and trick shots?
