Netflix’s ‘Quarterback’ Out Now! 🍿

I have already talked about this show here so feel free to skip this section if you're already aware of or currently watching this show. If not, Netflix has released a new show called "Quarterback," which is finally available to stream.

If you are a fan of the NFL, this could replace our offseason depression. This is what God has sent to save us. 🙏

We have 29 days until the start of the NFL preseason. Hopefully, this show and all of this INSANE NFL drama👇 will be able to keep us entertained until then.

Kadarius Toney is Breakout Candidate for Suspension?!

Kadarius Toney, former New York Giants wide receiver and current Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, is currently going OFF on social media and blames it on “getting hacked." 🤣

Toney and the Giants are just going through a bad breakup that he just can’t get over. Dude needs some T-Swift in his life.

Last season, Toney was traded to the Chiefs in exchange for a third- and sixth-round pick in this year's draft. During his time with the Giants, he faced numerous injuries, including hamstring, ankle, quad, oblique, and knee issues, which caused him to miss 12 out of 24 games. Additionally, he had two bouts with COVID. Toney's absence, along with his decision to skip voluntary OTAs in the spring of 2021, didn't sit well with the previous Giants regime.

Once he was traded to the Chiefs he was somehow healthy again, leaving Giants fans to believe he just didn’t want to play for them. To add insult to injury, his first touchdown as a Chiefs wide receiver appeared to mock the "hamstring injury" he suffered while playing for the Giants.

This has been a one-sided beef where the Giants have moved on; Toney has to as well.

He is kind of a nut case but the guy can play. While he could be a potential candidate for suspension, he also has the potential to be a breakout Player of the Year.

According to a former Giants coaching staff member, Toney has the potential to become an All-Pro player for the Chiefs. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has also expressed admiration for Toney, highlighting his quick learning ability, versatility, intelligence, and strong work ethic.

The Giants obviously knew he had the potential to be a star, but also noticed clear locker room issues. We have seen that in a few wide receivers over the last few years @AB. 👀🤣

With the Giants' future in the hands of a young QB named Daniel Jones, it’s hard for him to learn how to succeed in the NFL with a constant locker room distraction like Toney. However, having a proven elite quarterback like Mahomes can potentially handle big egos more effectively.

Overall, the trade benefited both teams, but Toney seems unable to move past the fact that the Giants gave up on him.

I don’t think this even needs to be said but, the “I got hacked” excuse is clearly bullsh*t. There are literally voice recordings and videos of him talking sh*t HAHA.

Beef Over the Best Cornerbacks in the League?!

Former and current New York Jets past and present cornerbacks engaged in a HEATED Twitter beef. 🥩

The intense discussion began when ESPN released its rankings of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, which placed the Jets' DROY in second place behind Patrick Surtain of the Denver Broncos. Asante Samuel, however, disagreed with Sauce Gardner's ranking and suggested that the New York media was responsible for hyping up the second-year player.

Gardner had earned All-Pro First Team honors alongside Surtain last season, so it makes sense that they are the top two cornerbacks in the league. Nevertheless, Samuel believed that Seattle's Tariq Woolen had a better rookie season than Gardner.

But Samuel didn't stop there. He also criticized the media for doing the same thing to Jets legend Darrelle Revis.

Looking ahead, the Jets have made significant improvement in their second year, especially with the addition of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. After winning seven games in 2022 and making substantial defensive improvements, their projected win total stands at 9.5.

The Jets are also slightly favored (-130) to make the playoffs, either by winning their division (+270) or securing a wild card spot.

As a huge Jets fan, I am biased in all of this. Asante Samuel has always been crazy, but…

Does Asante Samuel have a point here?

🚨Jets Confirmed Hard Knocks Team

The last time the Jets were featured on Hard Knocks, they went 11-5 and made it to the Conference Championship.

It may be harder in 2023 having to face Josh Allen and Joe Burrow to make it there, but I think with Aaron Rodgers, this team has all the tools to do it. Especially with the NY media behind them. 🤣

Despite Obstacles, Hartford Committed to Bringing Back NHL Team

When the Arizona Coyotes’ arena referendum put the NHL team’s future in peril, many municipalities stepped up and expressed interest in bringing the team to their city.

One of the most surprising cities to shoot its proverbial shot was Hartford, Connecticut. Yet, it makes one of the most intriguing options for either the relocated Coyotes or an NHL expansion team down the road.
