49ers Beat Seahawks 41-23

We all had doubts whether the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft could continue his stellar performance through the playoffs. However, Brock Purdy proved his doubters wrong on Saturday when he threw for three touchdown passes and ran for a fourth score, leading the 49ers to a 41-23 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in a wild-card game. The Seahawks put up a good fight but the talent discrepancy was just too much to overcome. A 17-16 halftime lead gave way to a 25-0 2nd half run by the 49ers before the Seahawks came up with a garbage-time touchdown. The 49ers now advance to the NFC divisional round where they will host Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday at 6:30 PM ET.

Honestly, I don't see how this team can be stopped with this many playmakers on both sides of the ball. I feel bad for Dan Quinn having to come up with something to try to stop this EXPLOSIVE offense.

The Third-Largest Comeback in NFL Playoff History

The Jacksonville Jaguars were trailing 27-0 against the Los Angeles Chargers late in the second quarter of the AFC Wild Card round but somehow managed to make an INCREDIBLE comeback and win 31-30 with a game-winning field goal. This was the third-largest comeback in NFL playoff history. 😳

A bettor put $1.4 MILLION on Chargers ML when they were up 27-0. That tiny $11K win... did not happen.

It was a tale of two halves for the Jags as Trevor Lawrence threw 4 interceptions on his first 16 pass attempts, 3 of them going to Asante Samuel Jr. However, the former No. 1 overall pick came back in the second half a new quarterback leading his team to a 24-3 second half, including three straight touchdown drives and a game-winning field goal by Riley Patterson. The Jags now face the Chiefs this Saturday at 4:30 PM ET. This run seems very similar to the 2021 Bengals. Can they survive against the Super Bowl favorites?

Bills Almost Lose To Skylar Thompson 🤯

The Bills failed to maintain their 17-0 lead against a team that barely made it to the playoffs, having lost five out of their last six games, and playing with their third-string quarterback, Skylar Thompson. Despite a three-turnover performance, Josh Allen was able to lead the Bills to a 34-31 victory over Mike McDaniel's Dolphins.

Is it finally time to be concerned about Josh Allen's turnovers? If you want to be Super Bowl champions, your star QB cannot be giving the ball away that many times in a Wild Card game to a subpar defense.

The Bills opened the year as favorites to win the Super Bowl and just barely squeaked past the seventh-seeded and injury-depleted Miami Dolphins. They now face the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, Jan. 22 at 3 PM ET!

Giants vs Vikings: Daddy Dimes Cooked 🥵

The New York Giants ended the Minnesota Vikings' season to get their 1st playoff win in 11 years! I wish I could say I saw the Vikings being frauds from the start, but I didn't. I had hopes that Kevin O'Connell turned the organization around and the 13-4 record really showed their true dominance in the league. HOWEVER, I was wrong and will never trust the Minnesota Vikings OR Kirk Cousins ever again!

Daniel Jones also performed exceptionally well in his debut playoff game, completing 24 out of 35 passes for 301 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also had the most rushing yards on the team with 78 yards on 17 carries. Saquon Barkley had a standout performance, accumulating 109 total yards and two touchdowns despite having limited opportunities with only 9 carries. The Giants will play the Eagles this Saturday at 8:15 PM ET.

Ravens vs Bengals: Close But No CIGAR

The Cincinnati Bengals came out on top against the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 24-17. With the win, they will play the Buffalo Bills on the road this Sunday at 3 PM ET.

This game was much closer than most people expected but the most critical plays happened in the 4th quarter when Tyler Huntley fumbled the football near the goal line, and Sam Hubbard returned it for 98 yards to the HOUSE!

Baltimore still had a shot with a hail-mary attempt that was an inch away from being one of the most iconic catches of all time.

Cowboys vs Bucs: Does Tom Brady Retire?

On Monday, Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys defeated Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-14, in the final wild-card round matchup of the NFL playoffs. Prescott had his best playoff performance of his career, leading his team to victory by throwing for 305 yards and four touchdowns, as well as running for an additional touchdown.

Everyone, especially me, viewed this game as a great upset game in the Wild Card rounds. Why? Because the Cowboys usually show that they are frauds around this time every year, and the Bucs... well the Bucs just had Tom Brady. I got lost in the TB12 sauce and missed what was right in front of me. That the Bucs STUNK this year. Although I hope to see the 🐐 back for another year, it might be time to call it quits after his perfect 7-0 record against the Cowboys is now gone.
