NFL is BACK: Who You Got, Ravens or Chiefs?
Plus: Friday NFL in Brazil, Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Best Bets, College Football Picks, & Daily MLB
NFL EXPERT, JOHN ARLIA:
The Kansas City Chiefs will unfurl another Super Bowl championship banner when they host the Baltimore Ravens in the 2024 NFL Kickoff Game on Thursday, Sept. 5.
These two teams last met in the AFC Championship Game, where Kansas City’s defense made the game-changing plays by forcing three turnovers in a 17-10 victory at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium.
This matchup between reigning Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and NFL MVP Lamar Jackson will be must-see TV, so let’s dig into the Ravens vs Chiefs odds and make some best bets for the season opener.
Find out why I like the Chiefs and the Over in this game.

🇧🇷 Packers vs Eagles in Brazil
NFL EXPERT, JOHN ARLIA:
The Philadelphia Eagles will play the Green Bay Packers in the first NFL regular-season game in South America on Friday, Sept. 6, at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Both teams reached the playoffs a season ago but got there in differing circumstances.
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles started fast but faded down the stretch before their wild-card exit, while Jordan Love and the Packers got better as the season progressed and narrowly missed out on an NFC Championship Game appearance.
I’m on the Packers and the Under in this unfamiliar environment — read more below.

🏆 NFL Predictions
Above all else, parity makes the NFL one of the best sports leagues in the world. Every year, at least one team goes from worst to first in its division, exceeding expectations and pushing its way into the postseason.
With that parity comes surprising twists and turns throughout the campaign, making the art of predicting which teams and players will succeed on any given Sunday, let alone in a given season, all the more difficult.
The Game Day staff members (Frank Ammirante, John Arlia, Garrett Chorpenning, David Kaestle, and Rich Migliorisi) aren't shying away from the challenge and have submitted their predictions for the Super Bowl winner, conference champions, and division winners.
Plus, they make their calls on the players who will win MVP, Offensive Player of the Year (OPOY), Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY), Offensive Rookie of the Year (OROY), Defensive Rookie of the Year (DROY), Comeback Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
🎯 NFL Survivor Picks
NFL EXPERT, JOHN ARLIA:
I can't imagine there will be many better opportunities to use the Seahawks than this one.
Seattle opens the Mike Macdonald era at home against the Broncos, who will turn to first-round pick Bo Nix at quarterback. Rookie QBs that start in Week 1 tend to struggle — all three 2023 Week 1 starters lost by double digits — and the last one to win their NFL debut was Sam Darnold in 2018.
Nix doesn't have many talented skill-position players around him, and he will be going into one of the toughest road environments in the league.
I'm backing Geno Smith and the Seahawks to start their season with a resounding win
🔥 NFL Props
NFL EXPERT, FRANK AMMIRANTE:
Anthony Richardson is still a raw passer, but this is a terrific spot for him to go Over his passing yards.
We've got a projected shootout between two fast-paced teams in the Texans and Colts. It also helps that the game will be played indoors.

🚀 NFL Parlays
My best NFL parlay for Week 1 kicks off with the Houston Texans defeating the Indianapolis Colts on the road.
Houston used the offseason to bolster its roster around reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud, adding wideout Stefon Diggs and several pieces on defense.
Look for the Texans to take care of an Indy squad that is reintegrating QB Anthony Richardson after shoulder surgery and hasn’t won in Week 1 since 2013.

🚨 Texas vs Michigan
Michigan has scored 30-plus points in 16 of its last 19 games, but I don’t foresee the Wolverines getting near that number on Saturday.
This offense lost most of its starters from last year’s National Championship team, especially in the trenches, which limits the unit’s ability to grind down opposing defenses using the run game.
On the other side of the ball, Wink Martindale’s blitz-heavy defense has plenty of talent on the back end and should be able to limit Ewers and take away some explosive plays.
Check out why we see a low-scoring game in this pivotal matchup.
