I am sure you remember college football idol Johnny Manziel, or you may recognize him by his nickname “Johnny Football.” Netflix’s latest sports documentary, UNTOLD: Johnny Football, portrays the rise and fall of the first freshman to ever win a Heisman.
The documentary delves into his controversy-stained rise in college football, his NFL failure, and the off-the-field challenges that contributed to his downfall. In this documentary, we get an inside look at what really happened with “Johnny Football”, and even what happened after.
Without giving too much away, I'll keep this concise: if you've ever been a follower of Manziel's journey, this documentary is a must-watch. It offers an unparalleled glimpse into the world of college and professional football, unearthing the truth behind the lies, the wealth, and the partying.
If you never watched him play, here are some highlights from his years at Texas A&M. Absolutely filthy. 😷
Here’s a little over 6 minutes of Texas A&M star QB and Heisman winner Johnny Manziel highlights. 🍿 http

I have been nonstop saying that betting on Josh Allen for 2024 MVP at (+700) is basically free money. He is fully healthy this year and wants to come back strong after a disappointing season last year.
These guys just aren’t it:
Patrick Mahomes (+600): They don’t want him winning back-to-back years — they’re ready for a fresh face.
Joe Burrow (+700): Burrow is right up there with Mahomes and Allen, and to be honest, he had a better season in 2022-23 than Allen. However, he lacks the running ability that Allen has, which I ultimately think gives Allen the advantage.
Jalen Hurts (+1200): The Eagles are in such great shape that he won't need to put in the same level of effort as Allen. Plus, there's a good chance he'll end up getting benched in the fourth quarter of numerous games – they will just be that dominant. It's pretty obvious they're setting their sights on the Super Bowl, which unfortunately means Hurts probably won't snag the MVP. Keeping him healthy for the bigger picture seems to be their priority.

Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions Running Back
UNDERRATED - BET THE OVER!
Jahmyr Gibbs’ speed is absolutely UNREAL 😳
Gibbs reportedly “stood out” in the Lions first practice with the Giants today.
Gibbs’ versatility was reportedly giving the Giants defense “trouble” in both the passing and running game.

You know I hate these one-on-one drills where basically any wide receiver and running back will look good against a linebacker, but Jahmyr Gibbs is my breakout Rookie of the Year.
He brings elite breakaway speed, ball security, route running, and safe hands to the table for the Lions. He doesn't really lack in any facet.
He's set to step into the number one running back position, taking over from David Montgomery as he advances in age. Keep an eye out for Gibbs – his exceptional skills are poised to shine in the dynamic Lions offense. Keep those peepers peeled! 👀
Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers Wide Receiver
OVERRATED - BET THE UNDER!
Quentin Johnston absolutely MOSSING his defender 😳
Johnston and Justin Herbert have reportedly had a “special connection” so far at Chargers training camp.
Johnston’s speed and size have reportedly caused “issues” for almost every Chargers’ DB he’s faced.

I'm a big fan of Quentin Johnston, especially watching him dominate at TCU. However, I'm not entirely convinced he'll seamlessly fit into this receiving corps. Or, it's possible he might fit in a little too well.
Let me elaborate. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are both well-established, big-bodied receivers who've already made their mark in the league and share a connection with Herbert. Now, Johnston is a rookie stepping in, and his size advantage mirrors that of Allen and Williams – they're all BIG. He doesn’t really bring anything unique to the table that Williams and Allen don’t already have.
While Williams and Allen have a history of injuries, if they manage to stay healthy, Johnston could end up being a third or fourth option in this offense. He seems poised to become the future of this offense as Allen and Williams are getting older. I just don’t see a huge impact in his rookie year.
