DO NOT Mess With The Jokić Brothers 😤

How to bet on tonight's matchup between the Lakers and the Nuggets. Can the Nuggets tie the series in Game 2?! Plus, see who we are taking to win the PGA Championship.

The NBA has historically been dominated by Americans, although there have been a few exceptions over the years, such as Hakeem Olajuwon, Dirk Nowitzki, and Yao Ming. Currently, we are witnessing the peak of international talent like never before. In the last five seasons, international players have claimed the MVP award. Notable international players are Nikola Jokić, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Luka Dončić, and the highly anticipated 2023 first-overall pick, Victor Wembanyama. These international players are reshaping the NBA with their unique playing styles. Among them is Jokić, who is a 6’11” center with a body of a grizzly bear and a passing ability better than most guards in the league.

Jokić, who is considered one of the most unique players in the league and a two-time MVP, is finally on his way to a well-deserved championship. His performance on Tuesday night exemplified his superiority on the court, looking like a man amongst boys out there. So, if you don’t know already, let’s dive a little deeper into who this stud👇actually is. 🤣

The Los Angeles Lakers entered Game 1 of the 2023 NBA Western Conference Finals with the best defense in the postseason.

Throughout the postseason against the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors, the Lakers allowed only 106.5 points per 100 possessions. However, after Tuesday night's 132-126 loss to the Nuggets, it became evident that LeBron James and his teammates face a completely different challenge.

During Tuesday's game, Nikola Jokić displayed an outstanding performance, particularly in the first three quarters. He scored 34 points on 12-of-17 shooting, grabbed 21 rebounds, dished out 14 assists, and recorded two blocks. 🤯

Jokić was born in the city of Sombor in the northern part of Serbia. He grew up in a cramped two-bedroom apartment that housed him and his two brothers, both parents and his grandmother. Now it makes sense how he can pass a basketball in such tight spaces.🤣 Jokić developed his passion for basketball at a young age, playing alongside his two brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, who are a decade older. Strahinja played basketball in Europe while Nemanja played college basketball at the University of Detroit Mercy.

His older brothers are also known for their LARGE presence at some of his previous games. Especially for this 👇altercation that happened two years ago when the Suns swept the Nuggets in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

These are two supportive brothers you clearly do not want to mess with. Honestly, this might be the biggest, scariest-looking family I have ever seen. It's astonishing how these massive individuals grew up in such a small living space. 🤯

We also have to remember this moment between Jokić and Markieff Morris.

The brothers even created a Twitter account to have their brothers’ back. 🤣

With the Nuggets now closer than ever to winning a championship, we can expect high-intensity games in this series. This means the Jokić brothers will be in attendance, bringing their passionate support without holding back.

We haven’t seen or heard from them in a while so I am expecting some kind of story to come out with them in this series.

If I see them in the stands prior to the game, I am putting my entire paycheck on the Nuggets ML. 🔒

I have yet to do a first field goal bet simply because I just feel like it is completely random. I guess first TDs in football are the same thing, but with that bet, I feel like there is a bit more predictability. Even if that might not actually be the case.

Are you going to ride with this Jokić first field goal bet with me? If not, reply to this email and let me know who you are taking.

Nuggets vs Lakers Predictions & Best Bets

Tonight at 8:30 PM on ESPN

It was a sweat, but the Denver Nuggets covered as 5.5-point favorites in their 132-126 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 1. The Nuggets led by as many as 21 points in the third quarter before the Lakers cut it to three late in the fourth.

The Over also cleared with ease, eclipsing the 222.5-point total by more than 35 points. While I’m expecting plenty of defensive adjustments ahead of Game 2, I still don’t believe this number is high enough to consider taking the Under. The Nuggets and Lakers combined to score 258 points in Game 1, yet that resulted in the total increasing by just three.

Jokić should be in line for another 30-point performance, Denver should continue knocking down shots from beyond the arc, and the pace should remain fast enough for these teams to push this one to the Over once more. Both teams want to play fast, and that matters.

If I were to tell you that Finau has ONE finish outside of the top 30 this entire season when he has made the cut, having played 14 events, would that be something you were interested in?

Now that we have your attention, Finau has been extremely consistent this season. That may lead you to bet his placements rather than an outright, but keep in mind that he just won the Mexico Open two weeks ago and the Houston Open in the fall swing, so Finau has been dangerous this season.

Asking Finau to win his first major is a tall task, but his recent play has shown signs to putting all of the pieces together on the biggest stage. Always an elite approach player, Finau also ranks in the top 15 of strokes gained off the tee and second in Par-4 efficiency from 450-500 yards.
