Super Bowl LVII Betting Guide š
Thereās no shortage of storylines here, including Chiefsā head coach Andy Reid facing his former team along with the battle of the Kelce brothers in Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce. Letās dive into Kansas City vs Philadelphia best bets for Super Bowl LVII.
Will The Rocky Statue Curse Continue?
Whoever placed this shirt on the Rocky statue has just lost the Chiefs the Super Bowl. I am being completely serious. If they lose, and now I think they will, whoever did this should be banned from all Chiefs games!
There is enough evidence to suggest that tampering with the Rocky statue is an immediate curse to the team that does it. Travis Kelce even said on his new podcast āChiefs, do not touch the f****ing Rocky memorial!" They did not listen š¤£.
Now, could this just be an Eagles fan attempting to light a fire under the fanbase and the players? Yes, and if that is the case, it is a genius move by them.
Here are some examples of the Rocky statue curse:
2023 San Francisco 49ers - A few days prior to the NFC Championship Game between the 49ers and the Eagles, a Niners shirt was spotted on the famous Rocky statue. Obviously, the Niners were defeated convincingly by the Eagles with a score of 31-7.
2018 New England Patriots - Before Super Bowl LII, someone put a Tom Brady jersey on the statue prior to the big game and if you remember correctly, the Eagles won 41-33.
2018 Minnesota Vikings - Prior to the 2017 NFC Championship Game, Vikings fans congregated outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art and performed the Vikings' "Skol" chant. Afterwards, they dressed the statue in purple and gold. The Eagles went on to defeat them by a score of 38-7.
2015 New York Giants - Ahead of the Week 6 showdown between the Giants and the Eagles, a jersey with the number 5 was placed on the Rocky statue. The Giants lost to the Eagles 27-7.
Will the Chiefs be the first team to break the Rocky Statue curse? š
