I genuinely believed that this would be the year for the Phoenix Suns. With the acquisition of Kevin Durant, they added an exceptional offensive weapon to an already well-established team in the league. The Suns managed to advance past the first round against the Los Angeles Clippers, but unfortunately fell short against the Nuggets in the semifinals. The Suns not winning the Western Conference Finals stands as the most devastating loss of my sports gambling journey, and astonishingly, Taylor Swift played a role in it all. I AM NO LONGER A SWIFTIE! 😡

Philadelphia 76ers

The Eras Tour - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | May 12-14

The Philadelphia 76ers put up a strong fight against the Boston Celtics, extending the series to seven games. However, it seems that "The Process" can now be labeled as "The Failure," considering their consistent disappointments.

Personally, I had my own problems with this team and knew they were frauds from the beginning, even when the city of Philadelphia had high hopes for them. Nevertheless, we cannot entirely blame them for their performance this season, as they were also plagued by the T-Swift curse.

Boston Celtics

The Eras Tour - Foxborough, Massachusetts | May 19-21

No luck of the Irish or shamrock could break this curse. Interestingly, the Celtics failed to secure a single victory while she was in town, but curiously almost managed a remarkable 3-0 comeback once she left.🤔 Unfortunately, in Game 7, they ultimately fell short and failed to overcome the curse's influence.

New York Knicks

The Eras Tour - East Rutherford, New Jersey | May 26-28

The Brooklyn Nets suffered a clean sweep at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round while the New York Knicks lost 4-2 against the Miami Heat in the semifinals. Although New Yorkers may reject the notion of a curse due to the geographical distinction of New Jersey, the proximity is close enough to warrant consideration. Regardless of denial, the curse persists. Get over it, New Yorkers.

Golden State Warriors

The Eras Tour - Santa Clara, California | July 28-29

The former NBA champions, who were considered favorites to win it all at the start of the year, proved to be powerless against the formidable T-Swift curse. They lost at the hands of the Lakers and failed to exhibit the same level of prowess as they did in the previous season. LeBron could barely stop this group, but Swift somehow did it with ease.

Los Angeles Lakers

The Eras Tour - Los Angeles, California | August 3-5

Never did I imagine uttering the words "the Nuggets swept LeBron," but the power of the curse proved insurmountable for the king. Some had faith in the Lakers, an underrated team that had built momentum from their victory over the Warriors, but little did they know about the ominous curse lurking in the shadows.

Denver Nuggets

The Eras Tour - Denver, Colorado | July 14-15

This is where the significance of sports betting comes into play. Perhaps they were simply an underrated team, or maybe every opponent they faced was plagued by a curse, giving the Heat a significant advantage. 🤷‍♂️
