LeBron Might Retire š³
.@KingJames: āPersonally, going forward with the game of basketball, Iāve got a lot to think about.ā

LeBron James' season unfortunately came to an end following the Los Angeles Lakers' 113-111 defeat against the Denver Nuggets. His postgame interview seemed a bit cryptic, hinting that retirement might be a possibility.
LeBron has consistently expressed his desire to continue playing until his son, Bronny James, enters the league, and that could become a reality as he has committed to USC and will be eligible for the NBA in the 2024-25 season.
However, he just looked gassed out there last night. He is old, and although he is obviously a different breed than the rest of us, Father Time is undefeated.
This season has been remarkable for both LeBron and the Lakers on various fronts. LeBron became the NBA's all-time leading scorer, and the Lakers managed to bounce back from a rough start with a losing record (37-38) as late as March 26 to secure a play-in spot and eventually reach the Western Conference Finals.
While LeBron has shown signs of slowing down on the court, he remains one of the league's top players. He averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists this season.
I personally doubt that he will actually retire and suspect that his comments might be a strategic move to encourage the Lakers' front office to acquire additional superstar players like Kyrie Irving during the offseason.
LeBron's statements are simply a way of conveying that he is approaching the end of his career and emphasizing the urgency to secure a championship victory as soon as possible.
With the addition of one more scoring guard and maybe some role players, they could have been the 2023 NBA Champions.
We Owe Blake Griffin an Apology š¬
we owe blake griffin an apology

If you didnāt know, Blake Griffin is currently on a playoff run with the Boston Celtics and about to lose in the Eastern Conference Finals. Griffin has played a total of 6 minutes in the playoffs this year and is barely a contributor despite his star status. He just hasn't been the same since his years with the Clippers, and once again, Father Time got to him especially fast.
Griffin has even gone through some off-the-court speculation surrounding being the alleged father of famous porn star Lana Rhoadesā baby.
Essentially, Rhoades wouldnāt reveal the identity of the baby daddy but hinted that he played in the NBA. And honestly, this only hurt one personā¦ Blake Griffin. Look at that first picture up there šand tell me you wouldnāt immediately think of Griffin. He was scolded by the internet for this, and who knows, it could have affected his game on the court š¤·āāļø.
HOWEVER, we just recently found out the father was actuallyā¦ š„Bruce Brown
Celtics vs Heat Predictions & Best Bets
The Miami Heat blew the doors off of the Boston Celtics in Game 3, winning 128-102 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. No team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit, so itās looking like the Heat will advance to the NBA Finals.
The Celtics have been completely outplayed every step of the way by this Miami group, and it seems unlikely that theyāll be able to force their way back into the series in Game 4.
Tatumās face š

Boston has lost its fight. The Celtics rolled over in Game 3 and had essentially lost by halftime, only for the Heat to come out and outscore them by 15 in the third quarter.
Perhaps most disappointing for Boston has been the play of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who combined for just 26 points on 12-of-35 shooting from the field. Tatum still has yet to make a field goal in the fourth quarter of a game this series.
Do the Celtics want to be swept out of the Eastern Conference Finals? No, of course not. But they havenāt shown an ounce of effort thus far, and I donāt expect them to start now.
Heat -2 (-110) ā¢ DraftKings Sportsbook
This one feels over. The Heat have some incredible momentum going right now, and after being eliminated in seven games by the Celtics in last yearās Eastern Conference Finals, Iām expecting them to jump at the opportunity to sweep Boston.
Jimmy Butler and Co. understand the assignment. All they have to do is stick to their game plan and continue to play the way they have through the first three games, and theyāll be on their way back to the NBA Finals.
Miami is a perfect 3-0 against the spread against Boston and a league-best 11-3 in the playoffs. Back them to do it again and cover as two-point favorites in Game 4.

šØCarmelo Anthony Retires
In honor of his retirement, here are our favorite Carmelo moments š¤£š
In honor of @carmeloanthony retiring, it's only right we post this šš¾

I'm disappointed. I really wanted Carmelo Anthony to receive the well-deserved retirement tour. Towards the end of his career, it seemed like he was disrespected and overlooked because of his dramatic decline (again, Father Time is undefeated). However, letās not forget the impact he made during his time with the Denver Nuggets and early years with the New York Knicks. Although he never won a championship, he was undeniably one of the greatest players of our generation.
For a significant period, the NBA was defined by the faces of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and Melo. Now, only one player remains standing. It's a sad day, and Melo should be celebrated as one of the absolute best.
With 10 All-Star appearances, 6 All-NBA selections, 3 Olympic Gold Medals, 1 scoring title, inclusion in the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and as one of the purest scorers ever, Melo's achievements speak for themselves. He has left an indelible mark on the game. š„
