🚨My Thoughts on The Aaron Rodgers Trade
PLUS: Why C.J. Stroud is no longer a "sure-fire" top-five selection & why Jimmy Butler does not like his new nickname "Playoff Jimmy"
JETS FANS, HOW ARE WE FEELING?!
Although the New York Jets may have given up more than most people anticipated, it's still a great deal. Joe Douglas didn’t do his usual fleecing, but you can’t outsmart them all. 🤷♂️ Honestly, both sides won. The Jets got their missing piece while the Packers received a good package even with Rodgers dictating the trade.
As a long-suffering Jets fan, I don’t think I have ever been happier. For the first time in a long time, the team has a legitimate chance to make some noise in the league. Gone are the days of being the laughing stock of the NFL, the team infamous for the "butt fumble" and crushing the hopes of promising quarterbacks. I am proud and confident of our ayahuasca-loving QB and will forever praise his name when he leads us to the promised land.
I could potentially be going too far but at least let me try to put this into perspective. Jets fans have rarely ever felt optimistic about a season before. Rodgers' arrival brings a sense of hope to the franchise and could be the missing piece the team needs to turn things around. The Jets have been struggling with poor quarterback play, but Rodgers' experience and talent could be the solution to their offensive struggles. This move is reminiscent of Tom Brady's transfer to the Buccaneers, in which they filled a void with a former MVP who led them to a Super Bowl win. With a strong defense and emerging stars on rookie contracts, the Jets are now a serious contender in the league. The team's future looks bright, and the addition of Rodgers could make the Jets a free-agent destination.
The Jets had a top-4 defense in football last season, with standout performances from Sauce Gardner — Defensive Rookie of the Year and one of the best cornerbacks in the league — and D.J. Reed, one of the best CB duos in the NFL. The team also boasts a strong veteran presence in the middle of the field with C.J. Mosley. And you obviously can’t forget Quinnen Williams, who was one of the best defensive tackles across the entire league, who recorded 12 sacks and 71 pressures, making him a formidable force on the field.
On offense, there is a reason why Aaron Rodgers had the Jets as the No. 1 destination. Not only did they have Breece Hall, who would have won the Offensive Rookie of the Year before his injury, but then Garrett Wilson stepped up and dominated with 83 catches, 1,103 yards (13.3 per catch), and four touchdowns. What's even more impressive is that he accomplished this WITH BOTH ZACH WILSON AND MIKE WHITE AS HIS QUARTERBACKS. Additionally, the Jets will be getting both Alijah Vera-Tucker and Mekhi Becton back from injury, bolstering their offensive line. With all of these pieces in place, the Jets’ offense could be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming season.
The Jets are no longer the laughingstock of the NFL. The script is there, and it's up to the league to decide whether they want to use it. The entire NFL has been put on notice: Watch out for the New York Jets.
The AFC is LOADED with QB's 🔥

🚨RED ALERT: C.J. Stroud Cognitive Test
I was on the C.J. Stroud hype train from the start, but this recent report of his cognitive test is NOT GOOD. The hate this past week has been all over the place for Stroud, who I honestly thought was going to be the No. 1 overall pick without a doubt. Now, there are reports he is no longer a “sure-fire” top-five selection in the draft. 🤯
C.J. Stroud reportedly scored an “18%” on the S2 cognition test, which is focused on processing and decision-making. Stroud’s score was the lowest of all reported scores from this year’s QB draft class. Every other QB’s score was at least 28% higher than Stroud’s with Bryce Young getting a 98%. 😳
Hopefully, this is a false rumor because 18% is so outrageously bad it’s actually funny. I hate to put that much weight on a test, but every test is to measure what a QB needs to be successful in the league. I wouldn’t say it was a big deal if he even got in the 50s, but an 18% is scary if you are a GM using your first-rounder on him.
"The list of @S2Cognition scores that I have seen aren't accurate at all..
At least two of them aren't accurate and those scores don't have context" ~ @brandonally3

Although S2 Cognition semi-denies the scores, this is still a sign of Stroud’s dropping stock.
Playoff Jimmy Could Not be Stopped 🐐

Jimmy Butler was nothing short of sensational on Monday, leading the Miami Heat to a stunning comeback victory over the Milwaukee Bucks and putting the Eastern Conference's No. 1 seed on the brink of elimination. Butler's 56-point performance gave him the nickname “Playoff Jimmy.” He commented on the name after the game saying “It’s not a thing. It’s not. I just be hooping.” 🤣
Butler came out firing from the opening tip, putting up 22 points in the first quarter alone, including a run of 20 straight points. He continued to dominate throughout the game, finishing with 21 points in the fourth quarter to seal the victory and secure a 3-1 series lead for the eighth-seeded Heat.
Despite the return of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who posted a triple-double after missing two-plus games with a back contusion, the Bucks simply couldn't contain Butler.
The Timberwolves moved on from Butler because he was pushing Karl-Anthony Towns too hard, and the 76ers didn’t think Butler was a winner and kept Tobias Harris over him. He deserves the nickname Playoff Jimmy.
HIMmy Buckets has been unbelievable

Despite Butler’s incredible performance, I’m still taking this bet all day, every day. 👇
