Have You Ever Seen a Floor Burn This Bad? 😬

The Denver Nuggets hold a 2-1 lead over the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals following their 109-94 victory in Game 3 on Wednesday. Jamal Murray showcased his dominance, recording 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.

During the game, the shooting guard suffered a nasty floor burn that I think could potentially hurt his performance tonight. 👀 Let’s hammer his under 25.5 points in light of this new information.

NBA Finals Game 4: Nuggets vs Heat

Tonight at 8:30 PM on ABC

Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray delivered masterful performances in Game 3, each recording 30-point triple-doubles en route to a comfortable 109-94 victory. Jokić logged 32 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists — the first 30-20-10 game in Finals history — while Murray had 34-10-10.

As a result, the Denver Nuggets have taken a 2-1 lead over the Miami Heat, and a win in Game 4 would put them in prime position to earn their first title in franchise history at home in Game 5. Miami certainly won’t make it easy, though.

Here are my best bets and predictions for Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Nuggets and Heat.

Despite another horrid three-point shooting performance in Game 3, the Nuggets effectively controlled the pace throughout and never trailed after the second quarter. Michael Porter Jr. and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope offered little on offense once again, but Christian Braun‘s performance kept the Heat at bay.

Miami struggled to score all night, and credit is due to Michael Malone for making the proper defensive adjustments after Game 2. Gabe Vincent and Max Strus — who combined for 37 points on 8 of 16 shooting from deep on Sunday — notched just 10 points in Game 3.

It bodes well for Denver that it can win even without strong contributions from its role players, which speaks volumes about the dominance of Jokić and Murray. With no answer for either player, the Heat will be hard-pressed to win another game in this series.

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo will do their best to tie this one up at 2-2, but I don’t see Miami getting the help it needs to upend the Nuggets a second time.

Nuggets -3 (-115)

Each of Denver’s wins in this series has come by 11 points or more, and overall, this team is 11-7 against the spread in the playoffs. Moreover, including Wednesday night’s victory, the Nuggets have now won four straight playoff games on the road, and five of eight overall.

Unless Miami catches fire from deep or suddenly finds a way to contain Jokić and/or Murray, backing the Nuggets to cover this three-point spread feels like the right move. And if any of these two teams is due for a bounce-back effort from beyond the arc, it’s Denver.

Under 210.5 Points (-110)

Unders have gone hand-in-hand with Denver victories in this series, so I’m following that trend ahead of Game 4. Games 1 and 3 have seen an average of 200 points per game, while Game 2 — Miami’s lone win — came in at 219.

Since I’m projecting the Nuggets to take Game 4, the Under looks like the best bet here.

Jamal Murray: Over 7.5 Assists (-120)

Much has been made about Murray’s scoring in this series — and rightfully so — but he’s been just as steady as a playmaker, if not more so.

Murray has logged exactly 10 assists in all three games of the NBA Finals, compared to an average of 3.7 turnovers. They also happen to be his only double-digit assist performances of the entire playoffs, so clearly Murray has found something that he can exploit against this Heat defense.

Aaron Gordon and Nikola Jokić have gained the most from Murray’s helpers, and given that they’re both efficient scorers around the rim, we can expect Murray’s assist totals to remain relatively high. Gordon, in particular, has sank 15 of his 24 attempts inside the arc in this series.

Zion Williamson a DAWG 🐶

Zion Williamson and his girlfriend, Ahkeema, happily revealed this week that they have a baby on the way, but not everyone shared their joy. Zion says in this video, “I don’t know what the future hold”… His future was not bright immediately after this video was made. 😭 Here’s why.👇

You think he would have learned his lesson from his Duke days when he sent a thirsty Snapchat to a girl saying, “I have a big room, come sleep with me.”

Strangely, the situation took a turn for the worse in the NBA, and he is now facing various accusations involving women.

After his pregnancy announcement, adult film star Mariah Mills took to Twitter and publicly revealed her encounters with the NBA star. She expressed her disbelief that he had impregnated another woman, sharing a series of tweets on the matter.

This is the most significant impact he has had in the league since he was drafted. 😭

Stanley Cup Finals: Golden Knights vs Panthers

Tomorrow at 8:00 PM on TNT

The Florida Panthers can even the Stanley Cup Final with a win over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 at FLA Live Arena on Saturday.

Led by Sergei Bobrovsky‘s 25 saves, Florida got off the mat and rallied for a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 3. Matthew Tkachuk forced the extra session with his team-leading 11th goal of the playoffs at 17:47 of the third, and Carter Verhaeghe scored the game-winner at 4:27 of overtime, helping the Panthers win their first Cup Final game in team history.

Jonathan Marchessault and Mark Stone each scored for Vegas, whose three-game win streak was snapped. Adin Hill made 20 saves in defeat.

Here’s a look at the Vegas vs Florida outlook for the pivotal Game 4.
