Week 15 MNF: Bears vs Vikings & Falcons vs Raiders

Plus: NBA Props, NHL Parlays, & Sportsbook Promos

Monday Night Football features a double-header in Week 15.

The Bears (4-9) go at it with the Vikings (11-2) in an NFC North division game, while the Falcons (6-7) are in a must-win situation vs the Raiders (2-11).

Let’s take a look at our predictions for these two games:

MNF Score Prediction: Vikings 27, Bears 20

When the Vikings faced the Bears in Week 12, they squeaked by with a 30-27 win in overtime.

Sam Darnold picked apart Chicago's defense, completing 22-of-34 passes for 330 yards and two touchdowns, averaging an impressive 9.7 yards per attempt.

We just saw the Bears get picked apart by Brock Purdy for 325 yards and two touchdowns on an absurd 13.0 yards per attempt.

Chicago's recent struggles defending the pass is bad news against a Vikings offense that has scored 30+ points in two of their last three games.

While I expect the Bears to turn in a better effort than what we saw in San Francisco, it's tough to see them pulling off an upset here vs a Vikings squad that still has a chance to win the NFC North and secure a number-one seed.

MNF Score Prediction: Falcons 24, Raiders 17

The Falcons are in a must-win situation after dropping four games in a row.

During this stretch, Kirk Cousins has an astounding zero touchdowns and eight interceptions.

But this sets up as a bounce-back spot vs a Raiders defense that has gotten picked apart by Tua Tagovailoa, Patrick Mahomes, and Baker Mayfield in recent weeks.

Vegas is turning to Desmond Ridder in this game after Aidan O'Connell got injured vs the Buccaneers in Week 14.

Ridder faces his former team for the first time, but this is a defense that has seemingly fixed their pass rush, racking up nine sacks in their last two games.

I like Atlanta to get it done against a tanking Raiders team that is pretty much just playing for the first-overall pick at this point.

Now let’s give you a sneak peek of our best bets:

MNF Over/Under Pick: Bears @ Vikings Over 44 Points (-110)

The Bears’ defense has hit a rough patch lately, getting picked apart by Jordan Love, Sam Darnold, and Brock Purdy in recent weeks.

I expect more of the same against a red-hot Sam Darnold, who continues to find both Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison downfield of late.

I don't think the Bears have enough firepower on offense to keep up with a Vikings group that is in top form right now.

But in a game where they're likely playing from behind, that could result in more passing volume, putting us in good position for an Over here.

MNF Pick Against the Spread: Falcons -6 (-110) at Raiders

This is a case where I'm just riding with the desperate team vs one of the worst teams in the NFL.

The Falcons have squandered their NFC South division lead thanks to a four-game losing streak.

Simply put, they need this one. Kirk Cousins has to show improvement because it feels like he's on the verge of getting benched for Michael Penix Jr.

I'm betting that Cousins will get it done in this get-right spot for the Falcons.

Cade Cunningham: Under 40.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists (-125) vs Heat

DraftKings Sportsbook • WAGER: 1 Unit

Cade Cunningham is averaging 23.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 9.3 assists this season, which adds up to 40.2 in total -- slightly below tonight's prop of 40.5 points+rebounds+assists.

While Cade has been one of my favorite Over bets this year, I'm actually on the Under tonight.

The last time the Pistons faced the Heat, Cunningham put up 37 points+rebounds+assists in 37 minutes.

But more importantly, this game has a 219-point total, which is the second-lowest on the slate.

This is a high bar for Cade to hit given the game environment.

Panthers vs Oilers SGP (+355)

  • Oilers -1.5 (+185)

  • Over 6 Goals (-112)

I’m zeroing in on the Stanley Cup Final rematch between the Florida Panthers (18-11-2) and the Edmonton Oilers (18-10-2) for today’s best NHL same-game parlay (+355). This contest will be the first meeting between these teams since Florida lifted the trophy following its 2-1 victory in Game 7 at Amerant Bank Arena in June.

Let’s lead with the Oilers to get revenge on home ice Monday night. Edmonton won Games 4 and 6 at Rogers Place by a combined score of 13-2, so I’ll take a stab at the puck line for some juicy plus-money odds. Connor McDavid and Co. enter tonight’s contest on a five-game winning streak that includes four multi-goal victories. Meanwhile, the Panthers are playing their fourth consecutive road game and were blanked by Vancouver and Calgary in their previous two contests.

Since I don’t expect Florida to be held scoreless for a third consecutive game, I’m pairing the Oilers puck line with the Over at six goals. Four of their seven Stanley Cup Final meetings featured at least six goals, including all three in Edmonton. Plus, the regular-season contests between these teams ended with six and eight goals, so there should be no shortage of action in a highly intense atmosphere.

Back the Oilers and the Over for a solid return on your investment.
