Week 3 MNF Doubleheader Tonight!

The Jaguars have had a sorry start to the season, and I don’t see things getting any better for them when they take on the Bills on Monday night. Buffalo’s offense hasn’t missed a beat without Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, and the defense remains as sharp as ever.

Jacksonville needs Trevor Lawrence to be better, full stop. The former No. 1 overall pick is 26-for-51 with just one touchdown, continuing an uninspiring stretch that dates back to last December.

I’d suggest fading the Jags until we see some signs of life. They might be able to establish the run and generate a few scores in Buffalo, but the Bills have every reason to come out on top here.

MNF Score Prediction: Bills 27, Jaguars 17

After a shocking loss to the Patriots in Week 1, the Bengals looked more like themselves over the weekend, giving themselves a chance to knock off the Chiefs. As Cincinnati returns home for Week 3, it should have even more success against the lowly Commanders.

That’s not to say Washington won’t put up a fight. Rookie QB Jayden Daniels and the Commanders have done an excellent job of establishing the ground game this season, ranking sixth in yards (353) and third in touchdowns (three).

Unfortunately, Washington’s defense has proven incapable of stopping the pass, allowing 7.6 net yards per attempt and a league-high six touchdowns through two games. Expect Joe Burrow’s side to find its footing and pick up a comfortable victory.

This week’s headliner on the waiver wire is Bucky Irving, who is still available in too many leagues.

Irving has been a much better runner compared to Rachaad White so far. Through three games, Irving has 154 rushing yards (6.2 YPC), while White is at 66 (2.1 YPC). The Bucs should let Irving handle the work on the ground with White focusing on the passing game.

It’s also worth noting that head coach Todd Bowles publicly stated that Irving has earned more touches moving forward.
