Week 5 Fantasy Football Rankings!
Plus: Week 5 Start & Sit, NFL TD Props, NFL Parlays, & SNF
It’s time to start considering Jayden Reed as an elite wideout in fantasy football leagues.
This is a dual-threat receiver similar to Deebo Samuel.
The Packers’ second-year star has been rolling when Jordan Love plays, coming off a game where he put up 139 yards and a touchdown vs the Vikings.
You can fire up Reed as a top-three wide receiver in a projected shootout vs the Rams.
Don’t miss out on my fantasy football rankings, which finished 6th overall in FantasyPros accuracy contest last year.

👀 Start Austin Ekeler in Week 5!
Austin Ekeler is set to return to the lineup for the Commanders this week. The former Charger has regained his burst after playing through a high ankle sprain last season.
Expect a larger role for Ekeler this week.

🎯 NFL TD Props
Amari Cooper: Anytime TD (+170)
Cooper cashed my anytime TD bet in Week 3 with a two-score effort against the Giants, so I’m going back to the well against another NFC East foe on Sunday.
The Washington Commanders have struggled in pass defense this season, allowing a 123.3 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks and a league-high 10 TD passes. Most of those scores have gone to No. 1 wide receivers, as Mike Evans (two), Malik Nabers, Ja’Marr Chase (two), and Marvin Harrison Jr. all found the end zone against Washington.
This matchup sets up perfectly for Cooper, who continues to see significant target volume from Deshaun Watson.

🏈 NFL Parlays
Week 5 Best Parlay (+267)
Panthers +4 (-110) @ Bears
Giants +6 (-108) @ Seahawks
My best NFL parlay for Week 5 kicks off with the Carolina Panthers to cover as four-point underdogs against the Chicago Bears.
The Panthers have improved significantly on offense under the leadership of veteran quarterback Andy Dalton, putting up 60 combined points against the Raiders and Bengals after managing just 13 points in two games with Bryce Young under center.
Carolina's defense still has plenty of holes, but I'm not overly confident in Chicago's ability to exploit them. The Bears rank 30th in the NFL in total yards per game (253) and are in the bottom half in scoring (19.3 PPG). Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and Chicago OC Shane Waldron are still figuring things out, so I wouldn't be surprised if this game is closer than many expect.
I'll pair the Panthers with another road underdog in the New York Giants. Brian Daboll's squad is 1-3 after squandering its chance to beat the Cowboys at home last Thursday night. However, New York showed some fight against a Dallas team that has tortured it in recent seasons.
Daboll owns an 11-8 ATS record as a road underdog in his Giants tenure, and Jones tends to play his best football away from MetLife Stadium.
🏈 Jets vs Vikings
The first London game of the 2024 NFL season will take place in Week 5 when the Minnesota Vikings (4-0) host the New York Jets (2-2) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Vikings are one of two undefeated teams after their 31-29 win over the rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Jets fell 10-9 to the Denver Broncos in an ugly, rain-soaked affair at MetLife Stadium.
Vikings -2.5 (-115)
It’s hard to pick against the Vikings in this contest, especially given their coaching advantage and impressive resume of wins over the Niners, Texans, and Packers.
Meanwhile, the Jets’ victories have come against the Patriots and Titans, and New York needed Will Levis to self-destruct to beat Tennessee in Week 2.
Rodgers was already relatively limited mobility-wise following Achilles surgery, so it will be interesting to see how effective he can be against a blitz-happy defense given this new knee issue.
I’m not banking on New York’s offense to make drastic progress week over week, so I’m taking the Vikings to cover this short spread
🎬 Sunday Night Football
SNF Score Prediction: Steelers 23, Cowboys 17
Coming into this contest, the Cowboys have significant injury concerns on defense. Micah Parsons (ankle) and DeMarcus Lawrence (foot) could both miss this game, severely limiting the capabilities of Dallas’ front seven.
The secondary has also been dealing with a cluster of injuries, as No. 2 corner DaRon Bland (foot) remains on IR, and backup Caelen Carson (shoulder) missed last week’s game against the Giants. Both could play this week, but it seems Carson is the more likely to return.
While Pittsburgh’s offense isn’t among the league’s best, it has shown some flashes with Fields under center and should be able to exploit Dallas on the ground. The Cowboys finally corrected their run defense issues last week, but they were gashed by Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry (238 rushing yards, 3 TDs) in Week 3 and Alvin Kamara (115 yards and 3 TDs) in Week 2.
Fields and Najee Harris should give Dallas’ new-look defensive front plenty of problems in the run game, and Fields should be able to hit some passes against whichever corner plays opposite Trevon Diggs.
Look for the Steelers to control this contest with their rushing attack and defense, winning in a typically low-scoring environment.
