Week 6 MNF: Bills vs Jets

This week's Monday Night Football action features an AFC East clash between the Buffalo Bills (3-2) and New York Jets (2-3) on Oct. 14 at 8:15 p.m. ET.

These teams have similar records but couldn't be further apart right now. The Bills have looked dominant yet inconsistent, while the Jets have struggled on offense and recently fired coach Robert Saleh following an underwhelming start to the season.

This has become an incredibly important matchup for both sides. Read on for the latest Bills vs Jets odds, plus my best bets and predictions for MNF Week 6.

MNF Score Prediction: Bills 23, Jets 15

The Bills have disappointed over the last two weeks, suffering consecutive losses to the Ravens and Texans after going 3-0 to begin the season. Allen had one of the worst showings of his career in the loss to Houston, completing nine of his 30 attempts for 131 yards and a touchdown.

Even still, Buffalo hasn't fallen as far out of favor as New York, which was viewed as a potential Super Bowl contender coming into the year. Aaron Rodgers has failed to revitalize the offense, and the Jets' two wins have come over teams with a combined 2-7 record entering Week 6.

New York promoted defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich to interim head coach while the franchise looks for a potential replacement for Saleh, but with Nathaniel Hackett still in place as offensive coordinator, it's hard to feel optimistic about the Jets' chances of knocking off the Bills.

Buffalo is due for some positive regression, and although it may not put up gaudy numbers against this rock-solid New York defense, we can rest assured that the Jets will have an even more difficult time getting the ball into the end zone.
