Week 7 Fantasy Football Rankings!

Plus: Week 7 Start & Sit, NFL TD Props, Texans/Packers, Chiefs/49ers, & SNF

J.K. Dobbins has been one of the best stories in the NFL this season. After being written off due to his torn Achilles, Dobbins is performing as one of the best running backs in fantasy football.

The former Raven is currently averaging 14.6 fantasy PPG, which ranks as RB13.

We’ve got a great matchup on tap vs the Cardinals, who rank 23rd in Rush EPA.

Look for Dobbins to have another spike week, continuing to establish himself as one of the biggest steals in fantasy drafts this year.

Find out where Dobbins lands in my Week 6 fantasy football rankings, which ranked 6th in FantasyPros Accuracy last year and is 39th this season.

👀 Start Geno Smith in Week 7!

You can fire up Geno Smith with confidence in Week 7 in a projected shootout vs the Falcons.

Smith is in a pass-heavy offense where he's averaging over 40 attempts per game.

We saw Baker Mayfield (23.4 points) have a big game against this Falcons defense. I can see a similar shootout in this one, especially since both the Seahawks and Falcons are two of the fastest-paced teams in the NFL.

I'd start Smith over Joe Burrow this week.

🎯 NFL TD Props

DK Metcalf: Anytime TD (+120)

Metcalf has gone three games without scoring a touchdown, but he has a great chance to find the end zone Sunday in Atlanta.

The Falcons rank 30th in the NFL in pressure rate, meaning Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith should have time to sit in the pocket and scan the field for open receivers.

Metcalf leads all Seattle receivers with 54 targets, and he can score in a multitude of ways. You wouldn’t expect a 6-foot-4, 235-pound wideout to make explosive plays over the top, but both of his TD grabs this year have been on plays of 56 yards or longer. He’s also more than capable of outmuscling smaller corners in the red zone.

 🏈 Texans vs Packers

Two of the NFL's top teams will face off this week when the Houston Texans (5-1) go on the road to take on the Green Bay Packers (4-2) on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m. ET.

Houston is riding a three-game winning streak into Sunday's contest, most recently blowing out the Patriots, 41-21. On the other hand, Green Bay has won four of its last five, including a 34-13 victory over the Cardinals in Week 6.

The Texans have won several close games this season, but there's little question about this team's standing as one of the league's best. C.J. Stroud is the leader of a dangerous offense, and upgrades at the skill positions have already paid off, with Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon playing at an elite level.

Green Bay has looked strong, too, particularly in games when QB Jordan Love has been available. The Packers have also been dominant on the ground thanks in part to RB Josh Jacobs, who has already accounted for 464 rushing yards.

Where the Texans have the edge, though, is on defense. The numbers don't necessarily show it, but this is a dominant unit led by second-year DE Will Anderson Jr., who has already accounted for 5.5 sacks. Bills QB Josh Allen struggled against Houston in Week 5, going 9-for-30 for 131 yards.

Green Bay tends to be turnover-prone, and that issue could be exacerbated as Love faces pressure from Anderson, Danielle Hunter, and others. The better team doesn't always win, but this is one instance where I feel Houston's superior talent should help carry them to victory.

Texans 24, Packers 20

🏈 Chiefs vs 49ers

We've got a rematch of Super Bowl LVIII when the Kansas City Chiefs (5-0) take on the San Francisco 49ers (3-3).

Kansas City is coming off their bye week, while San Francisco just comfortably took care of the Seahawks on Thursday Night Football.

Let’s give you a sneak peek of my best bets for this game:

George Kittle: Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-130)

George Kittle has eclipsed 50 yards in three of his last four games.

This is a great spot for Kittle to go Over 50.5 receiving yards because the Chiefs rank 31st in yards allowed to tight ends.

We've seen Isaiah Likely (111 yards), Mike Gesicki (91 yards), and Kyle Pitts (59 yards) go Over this number vs the Chiefs.

It also helps that Kansas City's run defense has been elite -- 7th in Rush EPA -- so we could see the 49ers have to air it out more often.

🎬 Sunday Night Football

The New York Jets (2-4) will try to prevent their season from slipping off the rails when they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2) in the Week 7 edition of Sunday Night Football.

Aaron Rodgers and Co. have dropped three straight games after falling 23-20 to the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. Pittsburgh avoided such a skid by beating the Raiders 32-13 in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon.

This game will be the first time we see former Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams suit up in the green and white after he was traded to New York on Tuesday. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin also indicated Tuesday that quarterback Russell Wilson could make his first start for the black and gold on Sunday.

Let’s take a look at some of my best bets for this game:

SNF Pick Against the Spread: Jets -1.5 (-110) @ Steelers

Do I feel good about this decision? Not really.

The Jets are a circus right now. They’ve got an interim head coach, a quarterback who seemingly has influence over all facets of the organization, and they have lost three straight.

However, after getting Adams to New York, Rodgers is essentially out of excuses. The Jets are the more desperate team and will find a way to win after doing the opposite the last three weeks.
