Week 7 TNF: Broncos vs Saints
Plus: CFB Predictions, Best Sportsbook Promos
Thursday Night Football features an inter-conference matchup between the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints in Week 7.
The Broncos (3-3) are coming off a disappointing showing in a home loss to the Chargers, while the Saints (2-4) are currently on a four-game losing streak.
Thursday Night Football Bet Tips
Keep these bet tips and trends in mind before making your Broncos vs Saints bets.
Both Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed are out for this game.
The Broncos are missing elite cornerback Patrick Surtain II.
New Orleans is trying to snap a four-game losing streak.
It’s Broncos’ head coach Sean Payton’s first game back in New Orleans.
Let’s now get a sneak peek of my best bet for this Week 7 TNF matchup:
Javonte Williams: Under 45.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Javonte Williams has handled only 39.6% of the rush attempt share for the Broncos.
This has been one of the most inefficient runners in the NFL, averaging only 3.6 yards per carry.
Rookie Audric Estime made his return in Week 6. What was interesting is that Estime opened the second half as the Broncos' starter.
After the game, Sean Payton said that he "wanted to see more Audric Estime" according to Broncos beat reporter Zac Stevens.
It wouldn't shock me to see a limited workload from Williams in favor of Estime.
Let's not forget that Jaleel McLaughlin is there as well.
In short, we could see a three-man committee in this one, which would make it difficult for Javonte to eclipse 45.5 rushing yards.

👀 Georgia vs Texas
The most anticipated matchup of this week's college football slate also figures to be one of the premier matchups of the entire season. No. 5 Georgia (5-1) is going on the road to take on No. 1 Texas (6-0) this Saturday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The Longhorns have been dominant thus far, ranking No. 7 in points per game (43.2) and No. 1 in points allowed (6.3). On the other hand, the Bulldogs haven't lived up to their usual standard and have had a few uninspiring showings, including a 41-34 loss to Alabama in which they trailed by as many as 28 points.
Can Kirby Smart's squad take advantage of the opportunity to take down the nation's top team?
Texas -3.5 (-110) vs Georgia
This will be the most difficult game of the season for the Longhorns, but they should still have a decent shot to cover this 3.5-point spread. The Bulldogs have been too inconsistent this season — particularly on the road — so it's hard to imagine them coming into Austin and pulling off the upset.
Georgia's record against the spread is actually quite indicative of how far this team has fallen below expectations. The Dawgs are an ugly 1-5 ATS, making them one of just 18 teams in the nation that have failed to beat the spread more than once.
On the other hand, Texas is 5-1 ATS, and its 36.8-point average margin of victory is good for No. 1 in the country. You should never make your bets on trends alone, but this is one case where the numbers tell the story.
👀 Alabama vs Tennessee
Two SEC powerhouses struggling to find their top form will collide on Saturday in Knoxville when the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide (5-1, 2-1) take on the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers (5-1, 2-1).
Alabama narrowly avoided a second straight defeat last week against South Carolina, holding on to win 27-25 despite allowing the Gamecocks to recover an onside kick late in the fourth quarter.
Tennessee also dodged a bullet last weekend against Florida, overcoming a 10-point deficit to win 23-17 in overtime on running back Dylan Sampson’s third score of the night.
Alabama ML (-142)
Based on what I’ve seen from Iamaleava lately, I can’t back Tennessee. His QBR against Florida last week was a career-low 17.5, and the Gators’ defense had previously struggled to contain Miami (41 points allowed) and Texas A&M (33 points allowed).
The Tide have generally been fine offensively and proved against Georgia that they can score against one of the top defenses in the country. Milroe and Co. should do enough against a stout Tennessee defense to win this game.
