THE CAROLINA PANTHERS ARE ON THE CLOCK! ⏱

Can you perfectly predict the first five NFL Draft picks? Don't be the person that doesn't know any of the draft prospects — here is everything you need to know ahead of the first pick!

No. 1 Carolina Panthers (from Bears):

Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

The logical choice is to select Young, as he is the most prepared quarterback for the NFL among the available options. Despite being smaller in size, Young showcased his skills by winning the Heisman Trophy in 2021, and he possesses excellent leadership abilities as a dual-threat quarterback. As long as he stays injury-free, he has the potential to be the solution to the Panthers' long-term quarterback search.

No. 1 OVERALL PICK ODDS

Bryce Young (Alabama, QB) -5000
Will Levis (Kentucky, QB) +1200
C.J. Stroud (Ohio State, QB) +3000
Anthony Richardson (Florida, QB) +7500
Will Anderson Jr. (Alabama, LB) +20000

No. 2 Houston Texans:

C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State

There is a lot of information swirling around about Stroud scoring an 18% on the S2 Cognition test, but I love everything else about him. Houston needs a quarterback, and Stroud’s the best one available at No. 2. There are more rumors that the Texans will draft Will Anderson Jr., but ultimately I think they stay with a QB here.

I was a little concerned about this rumor, but I have to give it up to him on his response 🤣…

Our Caps Off crew also caught up with Stroud on the ground in Kansas City to name the top 5 QBs in the NFL. Do you agree?

No. 2 OVERALL PICK ODDS

Will Anderson Jr. (Alabama, LB) +125
Will Levis (Kentucky, QB) +300
Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech, LB) +340
C.J. Stroud (Ohio State, QB) +450
Bryce Young (Alabama, QB) +1600
Jalen Carter (Georgia, DL) +3000
Anthony Richardson (Florida, QB) +4000

No. 3 Arizona Cardinals

Will Anderson Jr., EDGE, Alabama

Reports are saying that the Cardinals are mulling trade offers from multiple teams interested in moving up to No. 3. However, Arizona is really considering Will Anderson Jr. He is probably the best player at this position in this draft, but obviously it’s a QB game — and with the quarterbacks in this draft class — that No. 3 spot is very valuable.

Arizona is in a great spot here. They either get the best overall player in this draft, or players/picks that could ultimately help them build up at multiple positions, which they need. It will be interesting to see how this pick plays out.

Watch as these top draft picks answer who the best and worst fan bases in the NFL are. 🤣👇

No. 3 OVERALL PICK ODDS

C.J. Stroud (Ohio State, QB) +250
Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech, LB) +300
Paris Johnson Jr. (Ohio State, OL) +350
Will Anderson Jr. (Alabama, LB) +500
Will Levis (Kentucky, QB) +1100
Jalen Carter (Georgia, DL) +1600
Anthony Richardson (Florida, QB) +1600
Peter Skoronski (Northwestern, OL) +3000
Devon Witherspoon (Illinois, DB) +4000
Bryce Young (Alabama, QB) +5000
Christian Gonzalez (Oregon, DB) +6000

No. 4 Indianapolis Colts

Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

While the Colts might have had their sights set on C.J. Stroud, Levis is the next best option among the top four quarterbacks. He possesses a strong throwing arm and fits the mold of a typical Chris Ballard quarterback. Levis gained valuable experience playing in a pro-style system at Kentucky, but he will benefit from a run-heavy offense as he adjusts to the NFL.

Indianapolis must also acquire dependable receivers to fully utilize Levis' abilities.

HOWEVER, and this is a big HOWEVER, he eats bananas with full peel and puts mayo in his coffee. WTF?!

No. 4 OVERALL PICK ODDS

Will Levis (Kentucky, QB) +115
C.J. Stroud (Ohio State, QB) +175
Anthony Richardson (Florida, QB) +350
Will Anderson Jr. (Alabama, LB) +1000
Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech, LB) +1400
Jalen Carter (Georgia, DL) +4000
Devon Witherspoon (Illinois, DB) +5000
Bryce Young (Alabama, QB) +6000
Christian Gonzalez (Oregon, DB) +9500

No. 5 Seattle Seahawks (from Broncos)

Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech

Seattle's defense was able to record 45 sacks last season, ranking seventh in the league. However, the addition of Wilson to their roster could potentially transform their pass rush into a top-five unit. In light of Poona Ford's impending free agency and Bruce Irvin's advancing age, it may also be necessary to acquire another pass-rusher if both players end up departing.

2023 NFL DRAFT - No. 5 OVERALL PICK ODDS

Jalen Carter (Georgia, DL) -180
Anthony Richardson (Florida, QB) +500
Will Anderson Jr. (Alabama, LB) +600
Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech, LB) +1000
C.J. Stroud (Ohio State, QB) +900
Will Levis (Kentucky, QB) +1900
Christian Gonzalez (Oregon, DB) +2000
Devon Witherspoon (Illinois, DB) +2200
Paris Johnson Jr. (Ohio State, OL) +5000
Peter Skoronski (Northwestern, OL) +7500
Hendon Hooker (Tennessee, QB) +10000
Bryce Young (Alabama, QB) +10000

2023 NFL Draft Best Bets

The NFL Draft is upon us, but there’s still time to scan the betting markets to find some value on futures odds. There are several options to choose from, including the top player at each position.

First Wide Receiver Drafted

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the best wide receiver in this draft and a top-tier talent renowned for his outstanding route-running abilities that set him apart from other top receivers in the country. Despite missing a significant portion of the previous season due to injury, JSN's excellent performance in 2021 has resulted in him having the best odds to be selected first. Additionally, Smith-Njigba's versatile skill set makes him a suitable fit for almost any NFL offense, further solidifying his chances of being the top receiver drafted.

First Tight End Drafted

The competition for the top spot in this market primarily involves Dalton Kincaid and Michael Mayer, with oddsmakers currently placing Mayer in the lead due to his ideal size (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) and extensive experience at Notre Dame. Nonetheless, it is still a close contest, and Kincaid's odds at +175 provide excellent value, considering his potential to excel as a move-tight end in the NFL despite his smaller stature. Kincaid boasts the desired traits and receiving capabilities that teams seek when they want to feature the tight end position extensively in their offense.
